Being in this business, we always find some little treasures that can make a book just a little more special. Today we present the top ten inscriptions / original works, from this year.

1. Emmitt Dalton’s letter to A.B. MacDonald and A.B. MacDonald’s letter informing him that he won the Pulitzer Prize.

Autograph Letter Signed to Mr. [A. B.] MacDonald, giving permission to syndicate an article and enclosing a Coffeyville Journal article for him. 1 page. 4to, on New Hotel Tulsa stationary; moderate wear.

2. Damien Hirst inscription with original art.

Romance in the Age of Uncertainty. Illustrated. 4to, pictorial wrappers; light wear.

With an Original Black Marker Drawing inscribed and Signed by Hirst.

3. Jack Butler Yeats original drawing

The Bosun and the Bob=Tailed Comet. 18 hand-colored woodcut illustrations by Yeats + 4-page catalogue. Original printed wrappers, uncut; scattered foxing.

4. E.E. Cummings private note of thanks.

95 Poems. 8vo, cloth, slipcase with printed cover-label; moderate wear. One of 300 Numbered Copies, Signed by Cummings.

5. Shel Silverstein does the best inscriptions.

7. Abbie Hoffman signs a book for the “Sheriff of Woodstock Nation,” David Dellinger, one of the Chicago Seven.
